This Terra Lotus moisturizing lip balm feels like a relatively unique product in a crowded market. Unlike other companies that have primarily beeswax in it, these balms use a combination of tallow, beeswax, and olive oil, all which are moisturizing and good for skin healing/recovery.My wife read that tallow is especially beneficial postpartum. As far as the balm itself the cherry scent is nice, it applies smoothly, and the impact of the moisture seems to suffice for the day. I'm happy with it, especially at the current price point of roughly $11 for a three pack. Recommended.
Everything I want in a lip balm product. Clean ingredients, smooth application, sturdy tube/applicator, lightly scented and not overpowering.Love that this is made with tallow and if they come out with an equally clean ingredient, yet tinted, variety, I’ll be even more excited to try it!Fantastic price for 3 tubes!!!
I like that it's a lighter cherry flavor. I think it's easier for me to wear when I'm not smelling cherry all day.Keeps lips moist.
I can smell the cherry scent when I hold the tube near my nose, but it's not overpowering. I don't taste cherry when I apply the lip balm, but that's perfectly fine with me since I prefer a neutral taste. The balm glides on smoothly and provides a non-sticky protective layer that soothes my lips and prevents them from feeling dry for hours. This is my first time trying a tallow based lip balm, and i have to admit that it feels a lot more moisturizing and soothing on my lips than other lip balms. It stays on better as well, so I don't need to reapply it as often either. I appreciate that these lip balms simply contain grass fed beef tallow, olive oil, raw honey, and a little essential oil. In other words, I'm getting all of the benefits from the good ingredients without being subjected to paraffin, petroleum, chemicals, dyes, or artificial preservatives. This price is reasonable for three tubes too!
Not much smell. It goes on very nice and smooth. I will buy it again.
